Craft Fairs and Cuddles

This weekend has been another busy one.
Saturday was an early start off to the Church in Kneesall, a little village
in North Nottinghamshire.
It is run every year by the W.I. and so is always well attended
and perfectly organized AND the cakes are FAB.

This is my friend Mandy's stall.
Mandy and her daughter Natalie makes all things lovely with fabric
while her husband Phil paints wonderful signs on
reclaimed wood and roof slates.

Our stall was rather full this time with all
the Christmas stock.

Button bracelets and butchers string
displayed in an old baking tin.

Snowmen in buckets, broaches on cardigans,
hearts and wooden peg rails...

sit along side Santa.
The local school children came in to
sing carols to add to the festive feeling.

Then early Sunday we were off again.
This fair was held in the village I grew up in.
Lots of friends and family called in to say hello.
So it was a very social occasion.

Then back home for a roast beef dinner
with the family
and lots of cuddles with Harley of course.

Steve enjoying the little stripey one.

An amazingly good weekend.
Must be something to do with this wonder.

Enjoy your evening.
Love Daisy x
