The day Daisy met Lucey from Lemonade Kitty

I recently took a trip up to York
to meet my lovely blogger friend from
I treated myself to a first class upgrade
and had breakfast as the sunshine
shone through the window.

The daffodils were out in full force...

and the rain stayed away.

First stop was Cath Kidston
where we tried on lots of clothes
and ooh-ed and ahh-ed over
many beautiful things.
I love this wallpaper.

Handbags galore...

and the most wonderful changing room
curtain made using a quilt.

A Great British display.

Lucey then gave me a fabulous tour of all the best
shops in York.
We stopped for lunch at Betty's
This pic is part of their Easter window display.

I have to admit we spent so much time chatting
that neither of us took many photos!
Here is a quick snap of some original shutters.

And here we are in a vintage clothes shop
where the owner kindly took a photo of us together.

Too soon it was time to go home.
We had such a lovely day together
and we got on so well.
I hope it will be the first of many meetings.
I hope you are all enjoying your bank holiday
Monday despite the awful weather.
Lots of love
Daisy xxx

  4. Oh, how much fun was that........

York in Spring absolutely delightful. I was there five years ago, at this time of year. It was rather fresh but the Daffodils were absolutely stunning.

Sounds like you had a wonderful mooching around .......Cath Kidston and Betty's, bliss......

Love your messenger bag too Daisy....is it a Dottie Angel design or your own work? Either way it's fab......

    1. Hi Claire,
We were lucky it was just before the wintery weather set in again. The bag is from an Esty shop http://www.etsy.com/people/littleteawagon. I have two now and they are both lovely. xx
