Daisy's recent workshops

Daisy's Sewing Day Workshops
seem to be going in a new direction lately.
Instead of choosing from my rather large
collection of patterns that I seem to have
gathered over the years it's all turning more free form.
This is all very exciting to me as I love to see everyone
busily creating their own thing.
One example are these butterfly wings...

made for a little girl who is going to a 'bugs ball' at school.
Beautifully embellished by her Mum.

These are the results from a recent button jewellery workshop.
A black and white corsage with clear buttons to give
it some sparkle.

A heart brooch which has been
all sewn by hand.

Another corsage.
This time made with batik fabric.

I adore button bracelets.
Here are a few from the day.

Ice cream coloured heart brooch.
Yummy!

Then the yo-yo makers came out and more bracelets
were made using ribbon and tiny buttons to finish
them off.

A close up - very pretty.

They were on a roll!
Here is a choker made with
Christmas cake ribbon!

This heart brooch had shell pieces and pearls on.
The colours were beautiful.

This bracelet was made out of hand made lace...

which the lady had made herself.
What a talent!

As you can see they were all very busy.

The tables were covered
with all sorts of goodies
and of course lots of chocolate biscuits. :)

I love this tape measure brooch.

A corsage made with homespun fabric.

Finally for now a button raggy heart made with denim fabric
which has been snipped round the edges.

Aren't they a clever bunch?
Thanks for calling by.
Have a good evening.
Love Daisy

  2. Some brilliant creations (wow handmade lace!) but I bet "Daisy the tutor" provided lots of inspiration and encouragement too.

  3. I bet everyone was as pleased as punch, some lovely things there especially the little button bracelets and the suffolk puff ones. I keep meaning to try these out, Lucey x
