A Little Bit Of Heaven On Earth

I wanted to share this little bit of heaven on earth with you.

This is Heaths Country Store

and it's where I spend every Friday.

It's a place where people come to relax, take their time,

find inspiration, get advice and generally enjoy themselves.

Heath is an artist and has a fabulous eye for colour.

He searches for texture and design instead

of following the herd.

Which makes this place different from

any other store you will ever visit.

There is always something new to see.

Fabrics to cheer up the darkest of winter days.

Owls and pussycats sail in patchwork boats.

We are all encouraged to make things while we help

the customers.

Trying out the new fabrics.

This is my Christmas tablecloth.

(note to self - must get this finished!)

Colour is everywhere.

Button, button. Who's got the button?

Heath has :)

Juicy fruits in ribbon form.

But it's not just fabric.

Oh no!

We also sell delicious yarns that are

crying out to be touched...

stroked and sometimes just bought to pop in a basket

just to look pretty.

Ahh! Christmas is on its way.

This is Heaths 'winter tree'.
